The AI-based mini project demonstrates how artificial intelligence can be effectively applied in different engineering domains. By integrating AI with traditional engineering concepts, the project provides smart, automated, and efficient solutions. We aim to shape future-ready engineers through a strong foundation in electronics and communication principles. Our department is equipped with advanced labs for Microwave, DSP, Microcomputers, Embedded Systems, and VLSI Design, supported by the latest tools and software.

Students gain in-depth exposure in core ECE domains, participate in technical activities, and are trained in critical thinking and problem-solving. M.Tech – VLSI Design @ SITS

Intake: 24 | Duration: 2 Years

This program focuses on designing and developing IC-based systems, combining fundamentals of electronics, material science, and embedded technology.

Students gain hands-on experience in semiconductor devices, circuit design, and system architecture using CPUs, memory, and peripherals.

The 2-year curriculum (68 credits) includes labs, electives, and a final dissertation or industry internship — all designed with expert input to meet current industry standards and career demands.

M.Tech – Embedded Systems @ SITS

Intake: 24 | Duration: 2 Years

This industry-aligned program blends hardware, software, and real-time applications in embedded design. Students work hands-on with microcontrollers, sensors, IoT setups, and simulations to build smart systems.

The 2-year, 68-credit curriculum includes Flexi courses, labs, projects, and a dissertation or industry internship — offering strong practical exposure and skill development.
Led by expert faculty and industry mentors, the course ensures students graduate as industry-ready embedded engineers.

Devices & Circuits

This lab builds the foundation for electronics engineers by introducing key components like diodes, transistors, and amplifiers. Students learn biasing techniques and analyze basic circuit behavior using real-time setups.

DSP Simulation Lab – MATLAB-Based Signal Processing

Students gain hands-on experience using MATLAB and Simulink for signal operations, Fourier transforms, and digital filter design — bridging theory and real-world DSP applications.

Digital Electronics Lab

Focused on digital logic design, this lab trains students in building combinational and sequential circuits using basic gates, flip-flops, and 7400 series ICs — essential for embedded and computer engineering.

Microprocessors & 
Microcontrollers Lab

Equipped with 8085, 8086, and 8051 kits, this lab helps students understand processor architecture, assembly-level programming, and real-time interfacing applications like traffic control and digital clocks.

Analog & Digital
Communications Lab

This lab enables students to explore analog and digital modulation techniques through hands-on training using AM, FM, PAM, QPSK, and multiplexing units, reinforced with advanced spectrum analyzers and CROs.

Advanced Communication Lab

Specialized for higher learning, this lab focuses on microwave, wireless, and optical communication with tools like Gunn and Klystron benches, VNA, SDR kits, and satellite/GSM/GPS trainer kits.

LDICA Lab – Logic Design & Circuit Analysis

This lab emphasizes circuit logic through practical exposure to Boolean algebra, state machine design, and discrete components, helping students translate logic diagrams into real-time circuits.

Embedded Systems Lab

Students work on embedded programming, hardware interfacing, A/D & D/A conversions using microcontroller kits and Keil software — preparing them to build real-time automation and control systems.

CMOS-VLSI Design Lab

Featuring industry-grade tools like Xilinx, Tanner, and Synopsys, this lab trains students in digital and analog IC design, layout, simulation, and FPGA implementation for modern VLSI systems.

Digital Communications Lab

Students explore sampling, modulation, and demodulation techniques like ASK, PSK, and PCM using digital communication kits, advanced signal analyzers, and LabVIEW software tools.

Microwave & Optical Communications Lab

This lab introduces high-frequency signal measurements and optical fiber communication. Students study VSWR, impedance, and signal propagation using microwave test benches and optical kits.
